Lathi napkin
What are the features of this napkin?
What is the fabric and how is it made?
The Lathi napkin is made from 100% cotton, block-printed by hand in Rajasthan. Each motif is hand-stamped by skilled Indian artisans using hand-carved wooden blocks, a centuries-old craft that gives every piece its own character.
What inspired this pattern?
The Lathi motif plays on the meeting of two graphic worlds: bold vertical stripes framed by a border of confetti-like geometric motifs. A rhythmic and joyful contrast, reimagined by Jamini in contemporary colours.
How can I style this napkin?
The Lathi napkin pairs naturally with other pieces from the tablecloths collection: placemats and table runners in complementary patterns for a chic, graphic table setting. Mix the stripes of the Lathi with a floral pattern from the collection for an effortlessly eclectic look. The Pale Blue colourway pairs beautifully with ecru, the Green with terracotta or yellow, and the Red with burgundy or ochre.
How do I take care of this napkin?
Machine washable at 30°C. Air drying is recommended to preserve its colours and the quality of its block print over time.
